Geo Advanced MPEG4* & Geo H.264** -- New

- In addition to Wavelet, MPEG-4, and GeoMPEG-4, the new codecs Geo Advanced MPEG4 and Geo H.264 will be added to old ones. The two new video compression codes deliver crisp and clear video quality in much smaller file sizes.

Video Mask Protection -- New

- This new video mask filter is used to shield any sensitive area on a monitoring screen, for example the ATM Keypad. The protected region is either retrievable with RSA-encrypted password, or un-retrievable if integrated in original video archives.

Advanced Motion Detection -- New

- Besides normal motion detection mode, the advanced mode is used to set sensitivity of motion for larger detection range. Each zone can be customized with different level of sensitivity. This new feature is suitable for open office or exterior areas, where the masking and check of luminosity reduce the probability of false alarms.

Scene Change Detection -- New

- If the camera malfunctions or the view is obstructed, this smart feature can notify users with alarm. This prevents any change of the scene, view angle, or focus clearness made by malice.

HDD Storage Calculator -- New

- This new tool analyzes and calculates the storage requirement for your DVR application.

Spot Monitor -- New

- Spot Monitor works in conjunction with DSP controller. Customize video channels and display

Hot Swap for HDD -- New

- The new MediaManTools will facilitate the hot expansion of HDD. Your DVR storage capacity can be expanded automatically without the system shutting down.

New Skin -- New

- The new version will first impress you with its alternative of custom GUI skins, Golden and Metal style. You can select one of the two new skins for your DVR System.

Grouping Function & Profile Management -- New

- The grouping function in the Fast Backup & Restore Utility lets you select your favorite applications and customize your own DVR. You can also export all DVR profiles like settings, skin, and data to duplicate similar DVR environment.

Control Center -- New

- The Control Center serves as a new powerful central management utility for multiple DVRs. It allows you to monitor 36 cameras per screen, playback all video archives, manage all DVR systems' settings, and control all I/O device remotely from one single workstation. In case of building fire, the Control Center can trigger all alarms on the networked DVRs and force opening all the fire exits at the same time.

New Schedule Planner -- Improvement

- The new schedule planner makes it easier to configure recording. You can simply follow the Setup Wizard and drag and drop the timeline control. Settings can be exported as backup.

POS Live Viewer -- Improvement

- While monitoring the POS-DVR channel, you can call up an independent POS Live Viewer to view POS text in real-time. The transaction text can stay longer in the Viewer than on the POS text overlay channel. Without calling up the System Log, you can scroll down the Viewer to pinpoint any suspicious text that just disappears from the screen.
